Who we are

We are CHANGESthatMATTER, a consulting firm specializing in transformation toward sustainability based at the Impact Hub Munich. 

Our network of 25+ consultants help companies reach positive changes that truly matter for the environment and society thanks to awareness raising workshops and trainings, sustainability strategy development, support of sustainability initiatives and empowerment of our clients.

 

We reckon many consultancy firms will state that, so let’s give some concrete examples. 

• We work by conviction, supporting only projects which create positive, concrete, and lasting impacts. We have refused to apply for projects that do not fit our values. 

• We leverage the power of the Head, Heart and Hands, by creating safe environments and welcome both intellect and emotional intelligence to make changes happen. This is a method we love to use in our Workshops such as the Climate Fresk, Circular Economy Collage, Biodiversity Collage our Planetary Boundaries Fresco but also with client- tailored strategic workshops in the context of the CSRD.

• We empower our clients to ensure their team will grow alongside the projects. Our best example: train the trainers sessions.  

We support our ecosystem and foster exchanges. We often offer free workshop for our community at the Impact Hub, our employees are given working hours flexibility for volunteer activities and our network of consultants is made of professionals who take the extra step to support sustainable transformation.

Your missions

As a small team, we all serve a bit as multi-task tool… So will you. Here are examples of tasks, which we may adapt depending on your profile and interest.

 

• Knowledge management: 

  • Monitoring of the latest development in the field of sustainability

  • Management and improvement of our knowledge management database 

• Marketing, Communication and Community Building: 

  • Preparation of our newsletter

  • Development of materials for our sustainability consultant network 

  • Preparation of LinkedIn posts

  • Support the revamp of our website

• Awareness raising:

  • Prepare and support organization of Climate Fresk Workshops and deployment

  • Prepare and help organization of others environmental awareness-raising workshops

• Project management and/or support:

Support on ad-hoc projects and research, such as: CSRD and double materiality analysis, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD, Sustainable Due Diligence, etc.

Your profile

• Languages:

  • German: native level

  • English: professional proficiency to native

• Motivation and attitude:

  • You want to contribute to a thriving future within the planetary boundaries

  • Pro-active and curious, go to attitude

  • Readiness to grow by giving and receiving feedback

• Degree and experience: 

  • Every job is an environmental job – your degree is not that important to us. We are looking for critical thinking, general knowledge on sustainability and curiosity to deepen it, strong communication skills in German and maturity to grasp and shed light on complex problems. 

  • This position can be your first professional experience. We welcome pro-activity, professionalism and the ability to know work independently (it does not mean working alone!) and teamwork.

• Location:

  • Hybrid: with a minimum of 2days/week in our co-working space of the Impact Hub Munich
